a reasonable belief that the rules pertaining to posting on the ToE forum are likely to be broken by the petitioner based on past experience either here or elsewhere. Those rules include posting in a manner that ridicules, demeans or threatens other posters, or engaging in provocation or the spreading of sensitive information.

?

We so think on different wavelengths.

What 'standard' are you referring to?

We are trying to include some kind of guideline in the amendment we are working on in the Jury Room, so people know what kind of reasons are appropriate for seeking to deny someone access to ToE.

because I don't like the color of their hair

because they annoy me

because I'm not comfortable with the idea of them posting in this forum

because I have reason to believe they are a danger to the community

because I have a reasonable belief that the rules pertaining to posting on the ToE forum are likely to be broken by the petitioner based on past experience either here or elsewhere. Those rules include posting in a manner that ridicules, demeans or threatens other posters, or engaging in provocation or the spreading of sensitive information.

Thanks for the hug, wherever that was. :)

Read the thread in the Business forum, then the thread in the The Jury Forum. There are a LOT of opinions on this issue, and its easier for you to read up on the matter there than to try to explain it.

(But simply, if a measure is passed that allows for certain people to be kept out of ToE, what should the posted standard be for members to consider before taking steps to deny someone access).

(I think it's best to direct the discussion on the justice of standards, etc. to the thread in Business--just so that people's opinions aren't littered all around the board and we know where to go to read them). :)

Edit: Sorry, in the time in took me to write that up both Cerin and Fixer slipped back in! :)

EDIT: took my opinions over to the Business forum, as directed.
