Tinwë changed the forum description for ToE!

Speaking as someone who arbitrarily rewrote (even wrote from scratch) several forum descriptions during her days as a Ranger, I deplore this abuse of power.

I reserve the right to flounce back in at any time.

<flounces out again with an extra shake to the petticoats>

That brings up a point I've been wondering about since you first flounced out.

Can one flounce if not appropriately attired? Or with enough attitude, could one possibly flounce even in lycra?

That reminds me of 10fttall's brilliant story back in Scrip, where a character "stood up slowly" about seven times in a row without sitting down. It was her special talent, IIRC.

* runs after the flouncing Prim to give her a  *

<hollers from a distance>

I can't conceive of flouncing without crinolines!

The only active thread in ToE right now, which I'm going to take the liberty to mention since it's my own thread, is about virginity. That should tell you something HUGE right htere. We only post in ToE when we don't want to use any sexual innuendo. That's our one PG-13 forum, it turns out. ;)

Also, after reading this thread, I would like to propose the following:

(1) Impeach tinwe for gross abuse of power.
(2) Classify Ax, Estel, and tinwe as young members on the basis of their speech, which I last heard when I was in middle school. I think they're all lying about their age.
(3) Start a poll to deny Tinsel access to ToE.

I think I must now protest the wording of the ToE forum description. It implies rather decisively than anyone over the age of 18 is no longer young. I insist on being young.

How about 'younger'?

Prim must denounce
Her very first flounce
That she did announce
It had no bounce
By all accounts
Using every ounce
No small amounts
No vital pounce
On all these counts

<hollers again—no way I am flouncing back in again now>

And yet it counts
That I try to flounce—
I do not renounce
That haughty pounce
And soon will return with every ounce
Of bounce.

I think under no circumstances should we deny ToE access to Tinsel. However, we might want to consider seriously denying Tinsel access to ToE. :P:D

Edit to add: or perhaps we could deny Tinsel access to Tinsel. :D:D

I do like de spot of absinthe, occasionally. :D

On further consideration, I think we should be fair about it, and deny EVERYONE access to Tinsel, not just Tinsel. :D

I'm sorry, but if Tinsel and ToE don't have rights to each other, you can't have rights on both. You must choose between your Tinsel and you ToE.

I don't make the rules, I just distort them. :D
