Hello, I'm Moreander, (Pronounced More-E-An-der) I stumbled across this board and I figured I'd join in on the fun. I've never been a member of a board before so If anyone could help me figure out a way to start getting the hang of things and the lingo around here it would be cool.

a little about myself

I like poetry a lot. Stuff that has obvious meaning anyway. I'm not good at decrypting stuff so I'm not fond of the style of poetry that requires too deep of insight tee hee.

I enjoy reading books. Mainly fantasy and the like. Non-fiction is pretty dull to me for the most part unless it's an autobiography of a kick-ass person.

Music is very cool. I have a pretty broad range of tastes in music. Anywhere from Hip-Hop to Emo-Rock and anything in-between except country.

Views on life

I like to keep it as simple as possible but it usually ends up getting overcomplicated and stressful. Ya I know, Welcome to the game of life right?

My views on love

It hurts. Whoever wrote the song love hurts is so right. It's a painful process usually. What more is there to say? It can be wonderful and awful at the same time.

My views on Relationships

Lots and lots of compromise and work. No one will ever be in a perfect relationship and see things eye to eye 100% of the time. Generally, most relationships are doomed to fail because one person (Usually the male) is inconsiderate, hurtful, demanding, mistrusting, unfaithful , condescending, or really any number of things and multiples of them. And I'm a guy saying this, imagine what a woman would have to say! lol.

Well I hope I've sufficiently introduced myself, and I also hope to see you all on the boards some time in the near future. Thanks for having me Board 77.

Hi Moreander. I hope you have fun here. If you know little about us you could say that the majority of us have an enthusiasm for Tolkien's works but we are a pretty diverse bunch. Like all small communities we have our in-jokes but they are not meant to exclude so feel easy to ask simple questions. Even I don't know what some of them are.

Well I guess I was running somewhere Between the shire and Mount Doom when I tripped on a rock. And there, inscribed on the rock in Dwarvish said, "Visit Board 77."

And well, I dropped this crud encrusted ring into a lake and headed here. Probably didn't have much value anyway.
