Well, there were witnesses involved. If it had been just me and the box o'donuts, though...

Eru,

They really are one of the best confections I’ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately they are not available in the US. Maybe you can find a nice Austrian to mail you some. I can’t remember, do we have any nice Austrians here? Any Austrians at all?

Anthy,

You need to learn the two-handed reverse donut snatch. Create a distraction with one hand, and while they’re not looking grab another donut with the other hand. Works for me every time.

Klonkku,

For you:

And what GOOD is it exactly, if it is BEHIND glass???  :scared: :nono:

At the Alprose factory / museum in Tessin, they have a fountain that isn't behind a glass and they give you a cookie stick dipped from it :D (on the tour that is ;) )

Darn. I missed the chocolate fountain when I was at the Belagio. :(

tinwe: I don't think we have any Austrians on this board. Pity.

Eru, I don't know how new it is and the Bellagio is huge...we were walking by the garden and suddenly Gimli goes: "Hey, didn't there use to be a huuuge staircase right here...where there's a...wall...now?"

His cousin confirmed it...and that was last year. They just got rid of the staircase and rebuilt the hall for some reason. You'd never be able to tell it looked different...

The money those casinos spend on 'beautification' scares me. By the way, does anyone know how a spiral escalator works?

I was there in 2002 I think so plenty of time for things to change. All I saw of the Belagio was a bit of the casino and the garden. I did a whirwind tour of the major casinos on the Strip and it was late by the time we got to the Belagio...was tired.

Gimli sounds like he goes to Vegas frequently! :P

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

Sounds like a good reason to make Ocean's 13 (I'll be the thirteenth thank you ).

Homer: (Offering Lisa a donut.) Donut?
Lisa: Uhh... got any fruit?
Homer: This one has purple in it. Purple's a fruit.

I haven't had any chocolate in MONTHS! Yet I'm still craving. I don't think I'll ever lose the craving for chocolate.

Oh, that's terrible. Did you develop an allergy?

Confession - when I was figuring out my new and exciting food allergies, I suspected chocolate. So I cut it out along with other suspects, and went several weeks without any. The torment!

After several weeks I realized that although I was dutifully avoiding chocolate bars, I was still putting a spoon of cocoa powder into my coffee every morning so chocolate was probably not the issue after all.
