The purpose of this thread is to help people with limited online time keep up with the news around here. :)

This is not intended to be a discussion thread, but literally a "headlines" only thread that includes a link to the exact post where the discussion took place. Your headline can be about anything, but please try to post links to topics you think others might be interested in.

Please DO NOT reply to any headline, or have a conversation in this thread. It is intended solely as a map for those who don't have time to keep up with everything that goes on here.

Please make your link specific to the post of interest that starts the topic being headlined, like this:

Anthy Tells Maria How To Make A Post-Specific Link
http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/viewtopic. ... d77#190539

Or you can hide the link behind the headline by typing [ url= http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/viewtopic. ... d77#190539] Anthy Tells Maria How To Make A Post-Specific Link [ / url ] without the spaces.

and it should look like this:

Anthy Tells Maria How To Make A Post-Specific Link

Anyone can make a link to any post they think is newsworthy. Just don't start talking on the thread, or the links will get lost in the conversations. Ideally, this thread should consist of posts that are headlines only. :)

edit: If you feel the need to comment about this thread please do so on The headline thread commentary Thanks! :)

The Ottawa Moot is ON!! (Though it's going to be a mini-moot, just Cem, Jude, and Sunsilver... ) :D:D:D:D:D:D

I am expecting Cem and her much repaired SUV to arrive at my door around 7 pm this evening.

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see
All of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms
You're only sleeping

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs. - John Rogers
