Well, I guess I need to relabel the pic to Titania Waiting. Give me a sec!!

January should be "Everything that has the initials TW" month, but Jude beat me to it........:rage: :D

Hmmmm, my favorite Muppet? I have so many!!! :D In fact, I need to confess to a secret love of "The Muppet Show" in general. The Swedish Chef, Statler and Waldorf (the two old guys in the balcony who heckled everything) and of course Animal were all great. But "Pigs in Space" was a top alltime fav!

Sorry, Jude, the T****'s have taken over. I hate them, too, but you've just gotta go with the flow. (And Holby has obviously gone to a great deal of trouble to make a hilarious sig pic. :D)

I do love the Muppets, though. Kermit is awesome! Loved "Pigs in Space" and the Swedish Chef. My favorites, though, are Beaker and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew. My best friend in high school looked sort of like Beaker, but I never told her that. (Didn't want to hurt her feelings.)

I'm all for making this a favorite studly men/women from a newly-released sci-fi movie month. :D (Witness my sig pic.)

I think the punchline to Holby's sig is for Tinky Winky to shout out 'Form a circle you bastards!'

The Wikipedia article on the Teletubbies seems to have been written by someone with a wry sense of humour. Else, it is impossible to talk about the things in an entirely serious and descriptive way without sounding ridiculous.

Perhaps the most common exclamation, however, is "Big hugs!" which one or more of the Teletubbies will invariably call for during the course of an episode, resulting in an enthusiastic group hug ("Teletubbies love each other very much", confirms the narrator).
Kinda sounds like b77, doesn't it.

Has anyone ever seen the show "Flowerpot Men" alluded to in the article that Lord_M linked to? Just curious.

Mossy, thanks for finding the video for "Mahna mahna"! I've wanted to see/hear that again for years. My nieces will be especially pleased.

I haven't, but my English teacher gave an impression of some of the characters once.

The Flowerpot Men was a TV children's show in the UK in the 1950's that featured marionette characters made of flowerpots and a large garden Weed. This was without the aid of LSD. I forget the name of the woman who wrote it. The incomprehensible dialogue of the Flowerpot Men consisted of 'Flubba, flubba, flubba', based I learnt once on the sound made by the writer's brother when he farted in the bath.

I'm totally with Lali. After all, my rank is a paraphrase from Serenity's "I aim to misbehave". Mal, I'm already doing so. :D

Now, where are my screencaps from "Trash"... I need a new sigpic.

I thought about using the screencap of Jayne saying, "Let's be bad guys!" It wasn't sharp enough, though.

I'd be in favor of you using screencaps of Mal from "Trash."

And Dipsy is the least liked Teletubby. :P

You're right, LordM, the author of that article was hilarious. :D

Snerk.

Eh-Oh!!

Sorry, I couldn't resist!!

We will need one of our resident photoshop wizards to create a LaaLaa image waving her wand and exclaiming "Bibberly Cheese" for you, Lali!! Sort of like Jude's Fluttering Curser........... :D

I must get or rent the Firefly DVDs. I honestly tried watching the show, but never caught it from the start of the series, and was way confused trying to figure out what the overall plot was or who all of the characters were.

Anything but teletubbies? I guess that means

and

are ok then, right? Good. We need some culture and refinement around here.

For anyone interested:
