Jude, your niece is adorable! What a lovely photo. I'm glad she enjoyed Mahna-Mahna so much. :D

vison, I completely agree. I've always wished I had a mind like Gary Larson.

mrs_whatsit, of course you can. :) Maiden or Mossy, either is fine.

That site is wonderful, though some of them are rather bizarre! Someone clearly has too much time on their hands, but still. I particularly enjoyed the one with the Moona Lisa and the surgeons.

Because this place is really quiet now, and because I am bored, and especially because I think this board could use some humour, I present:

and finally:

The end, mahna mahna, and all that opera.

Mossy... :LMAO: I love that C&H one!! I've read it before, since we have like the entire friggin collection at my house...but it's still hilarious. And the second one was awesome too. :D

 we could all use some humor around here, thanks.

As do I. :D I've always wanted to try that, but never quite had the guts to. Next telemarketer that calls, perhaps? C&H is the best.

Bloom County is a personal favourite of mine, as well. Opus is my phone, in fact.

Glad you enjoyed them, Elsha.

But you'd have to know that it's a telemarketer before you use the line, right?

Time for more Pogo - this is Albert's over-the-top rendition of "Who killed Cock-Robin?" I'll probably have to spread this over several posts.

I see what you mean, Jude. That cartoon strip just oozes charm. I can understand how it became addictive.

What Tosh said. I can (kind of) understand why you're so fond it. :)

Lali, I love your sig! I have a poster of the Lady of Shalott on my wall in my dorm room.

Thanks, Mossy! :) It's extremely lovely, I think. :Wooper: (That's the closest emoticon I can find for a sighing, romantic kind of emoticon.)

I always see :Wooper: as a sort of begging emoticon. Much like Duke trying to get me to throw the damn stuffed monkey one... more... time!

:D

I like Pogo too.... just haven't popped in to say so yet.

I always thought of :Wooper: as more contented.

But I see LaLa's version, too. I can kind of envision :Wooper: staring up at a balcony, gazing romantically at :Duck: saying "What light from yonder window breaks? It is the east and the weird duck is the sun!"

(I'm sorry, Shakespeare! :bawl:)

And how delighted Shakespeare would be to witness his elegant prose being delivered by a Wooper. :P

That's why I apologized. He's probably rolling in his grave and banging on the lid to be let out so he can correct this blasphemy.

(I'M SORRY!)
