That is amusing.
We had tornadoes last night. That is less amusing.
I was working, and I am shut away in the middle of the hospital in the lab without windows. The only way I can usually tell it's storming is when the lights flicker and/or when I smell the rain through the air ducts. Last night, J texted me to tell me that they had the sirens on and the tornado was heading toward my house. Then they called Code Grey, which is our severe weather alert for the hospital. It involves moving patients into the hallways (which, by the time I could get a straight answer on what I was supposed to do, it was too late to go help). They ended up calling the code twice before we got the all clear later. (Honestly, we have the best position in the hospital, given that we have no basement, so I wasn't too stressed.)
Anyway, it missed my house, so yay! It damaged a few businesses north of here, but there are no reported injuries. So that's good!
