The first episode was interesting. I think I'll like the series.

I badly need the opening and closing songs.

And Shouji (spelling?) is hot.

Shouji's looks are aesthetically sound yet blah as far as I'm concerned. Of the cast introduced in the first episode, give me Osaki Nana any day. :P

Today I cracked. No, not crying whilst watching. I do that a lot. I had a look around the great wide Series of Tubes and I found a copy of "Nana Best", by Olivia and Anna Tsuyichi (or whatever her second name was). They're the two real-life singers who do the vocals for Nana [BLAST] and Reira [Trapnest]. And guess what one of the extras on the CD is? A cover of "Anarchy in the UK"! :D Right from the start Ren reminded me of Sid, so I was so chuffed when the references started getting obvious and I realised he was actually modelled on them. When I actually looked up a picture of Sid Vicious (I'm a fan of music, not singers) I couldn't believe it - Ren isn't just based on him, he is basically just an animated version.

:Wooper:

EDIT for implied spoilers.

Ooh, then I can't wait to get to him.

:D

Shouji isn't quite as hot as I thought he was yesterday. He's okay, I guess...

But Kyosuke.....man...    He's very straightforward.

Sex with Kyousuke would just be like "Hey, get over here lady. I'm horny." And then you'd do it. And it would be great. :D

I finished Nana yesterday. Well, I say that, but... I finished the anime. And I found out that it doesn't go as far as the manga.

So... Ber, do you know of any good scanlation sites? :bawl:

I seem to remember seeing the manga somewhere online but I can't remember where.

I'm taking a break from Nana to watch what I was lent of Shuffle. The sub translations are awful but it's fun to poke fun at it.

I've never come across Shuffle. It's not moe or school-based or something is it? I seem to remember that the title comes up in bright colours. :P

I realised I like Death Note shota. If you don't know what that word means, don't sully your eyes by looking it up. Suffice to say I deserve to be shot. >.>

Well, I don't know what it means and I'll listen to you and not look it up.

:Wooper:

Yes, the title is bright. I don't even really know why I like it but it amuses me...The main character (as a child) promises to marry all of these little girls who turn out to be goddesses and come find him during high school.

It's very drama-filled and amusing too. The poor guy is oblivious.

Oh Fudge, I barely have time to watch Nana right now. Maybe this weekend. I am trying to get through Fruits basket since a friend lent me her DVDs but oh Fudge the subs are sooooooo bad!!!!!! I am really only getting the gist of what is going on. I am considering buying the manga, but I am so broke and it's expensive. Sigh.

The Fruits Basket manga is UGLY. Horrible, horrible screentones. Great lineart. Horrible screentones.

I found out something about Nana.

The last episode of the anime is not the last episode of the manga. :bawl:

Yeah, my friend was whining about that too Pips.

I just say, oh well. :) I'll read the manga later.

It's just not something you need to find out as you watch the last episode. :P

Ooh, good point.

I'm sure your reaction was akin to my sudden realization that Death Note episode 37 was the end.

That feeling sucked. :LMAO:

Oh jeez! Yeah, I knew from the start that DN was set out with 37 episodes. That was probably a lot worse than my Nana shock. :P

I want 'Welcome to the NHK!' episode 21 to finish downloading! It's the only one I haven't got yet, and things are getting really dramatic! :(

I knew it wouldn't be like, 50 episodes, but I didn't realize it would be so short.

So I started watching it over a couple of weeks ago and got distracted by the bleach manga. Again.

I'll...restart it again after I get done with the stuff on my plate.
