Lurking and considering posting just to say hello?

Wondering if people miss you?

Found this site by accident and are considering registering and posting?

Well, why not break your silence and drop in and wave to all your old friends? (or "waive", if you're a disciple of the RELStuart language school :D )

Start Posting on b77? Hmm, what should people that can't stop posting on b77 do?

I think we need to handicap the Grand Hippo. He has to make every other post in a foreign language.

Or, he cannot post anything that contains the letter "t."

Or, better yet, he has to post in either binary alphabet or wingdings...

:D

I think that we should make yov type his posts in Ancient Hebrew...

With translations in Ancient Latin, Greek, Olde Englishe, Swahili, and standard English.

I wonder if there's a mod available to put each post through a random babelfish translation... :)

Well *sigh*. Why do I feel like this topic suits me perfectly? After all, I was thinking today, shall I write that post I wanted to, for pretty long time now? That post where I was mentioning that I know most of you wonderful people, though only online or trough letters, that I know many of your stories, be they joyful or utterly sad, that I've laughed or became sad at the same time with you, reading them ... and yet kept lurking in the middle of nowhere, feeling somehow that I'd never manage to be one of you. Perhaps I'm wrong. I'll try to fix that up :D

The act of sharing one's sense of not fitting in usually does a great deal towards actually fitting in. Especially around other not-fitter-inners. :D

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

What is the "posting" you all speak of?

Safe in my arms
You're only sleeping

He's serious. If you ask him, he'll have to reply in millions of languages.

A million?

Couldn't we limit it to "created" languages? Or dead ones perhaps?

It would be interesting, for example, to see more posts in Latin. :D

OK, three scintillating posts. That's my limit. (Each is worth a thousand words, right?)
