I believe it is time that we as a board discussed whether or not we should ban:

Tyranny
Child abuse
Spammers
Cheesy radio DJs
Roadkill (it's sad and gross)
Inconsiderate smokers
Crappy concert opening bands
Reggaeton
That whole "Christmas is the time for frenzied materialism" thing
Those outrageous credit card late charges
Michael Bay movies
Those people who can't talk about anything but sports
American Idol (sorry *E*, it needs to be done)
Greedy politicians
Lying politicians
Power hungry politicians
Politicians
McDonald's
Homophobia
Whiny emo music
Whiny emo fashion
Emo
Haircuts like this http://bp3.blogger.com/_snhU--0Hzk0/Rzv ... istian.jpg
Candy corn
Heroin
Martin Lawrence
Religious zealots
Unreligious zealots
Breakups
Loneliness
Depression
Rabies
Those people who play music with the base so loud you can hear it half a mile away
Speedos at the beach
Clothes at the beach
HIV
Junk mail
Genocide
Rising gas prices
Those loud screaming radio car ads
Those bright flashing Internet ads
Those big ugly billboard ads
Those ads with cheesy little jingles
Those ads that they played before a movie in a theater
Those ads that try to subtly convince you that buying their product will finally make you happy, fulfilled, or cool
What ever ads are left after that
Littering
Hummers (the car, not the other thing)
Celebrity gossip magazines
Shitty Christmas music covers
Natural disasters
Slavery
Raw onions
Disturbing anime-fueled sex fetishes (tentacle rape anyone?)
Ignorance
Pretty much anything that has, does, or will hurt Anthy (seriously, what the hell?)
Rush hour traffic
Art snobs
Bratz dolls and merchandise
Grand Theft Auto video games
Racial prejudice
All shallow pop/hip-hop whose main purpose for existence is to promote superficiality and materialism
Cable TV News
Guns, bullets, and bombs
Ferrets

I know that the Rangers are currently busy working on banning democracy, but once that issue is settled I would appreciate it if they began this other pressing work.

Thank you.

eta: oversights that should've been included on the original list, as pointed out by WampusCat

Mosquitoes
Fleas
Sports announcers
Uncomfortable shoes
Cancer
Mildew

Candy corn? You want to ban candy corn? Wtf? Candy corn is like the only good thing about Halloween. You can't ban candy corn! I won't stand for it!

The rest of it can go though.

I will not tolerate a ban on candy corn or on clothes at the beach. I've seen people on the beach who inspire nightmares just by wearing skimpy swimsuits (they most likely think the same of me...too much candy corn). ;)

But I'd add these to the list (not in order):

Mosquitoes
Fleas
Sports announcers
Uncomfortable shoes
Cancer
Mildew

Candy Corn?!? Yova, you speak of the mana handed down but once or twice in the lives of we English! You'd ban that joyous sweet? :Q

Also, am I allowed to object to the proposed banning of at least some disturbing anime-based fetishes? :blackeye: Tentacles can go, that's fine by me. :D

Candy corn is the demon spawn candy from hell, along with those little fake pumpkin things. Even the dang squirrels, chipmunks and birds will not eat that crap. I guess they have better taste than some humans.

The only candy worse than those things are those really gross christmas hard candies that have all sorts of weird stripes over them and yucky fillings in the middle, and valentine hearts - those completely disgusting tasting things( like bad antacid tablets) that have "eat me" or whatever written on them.

I guess one can tell I am a particularly candy elitist snob.

I'd also like a ban on English words that aren't pronounced the way that they're spelled.

eta: And I've added the list's oversights that Wampuskitty pointed out. Good job, kitty.

I like candy corn. And the pumpkins, too.

I also like the "Eat Me" candy. :P

:heya: That sounds a little naughty....

I will support bans on the following things:
Child abuse
Spammers
Inconsiderate smokers
That whole "Christmas is the time for frenzied materialism" thing
Those people who can't talk about anything but sports
American Idol (sorry *E*, it needs to be done)
Politicians
Homophobia
Candy corn

Loneliness
Depression
Rabies
Speedos at the beach
HIV
Junk mail
Genocide
Rising gas prices
Those loud screaming radio car ads
Those bright flashing Internet ads
Those big ugly billboard ads
Those ads with cheesy little jingles
Those ads that they played before a movie in a theater
Those ads that try to subtly convince you that buying their product will finally make you happy, fulfilled, or cool
What ever ads are left after that
Littering
Shitty Christmas music covers
Natural disasters
Slavery
Raw onions
Disturbing anime-fueled sex fetishes (tentacle rape anyone?)
Ignorance
Pretty much anything that has, does, or will hurt Anthy (seriously, what the hell?)
Rush hour traffic
Art snobs
Bratz dolls and merchandise
Racial prejudice
superficiality and materialism
Mosquitoes
Fleas
Uncomfortable shoes
Cancer
Mildew

And I add:
Mice
Headaches
Paid advertisments on TV
Insurance forms
People who are famous simply because they're rich
Singers dressing outside their genre (Example: a kid's pop band dressing punk or emo while singing about how aweomse girlfriends are. Seriously, WHAT THE HECK!?)

I'm too tired to add more. I'm going to try to sleep now.

I'm boycotting sweets right now. So I don't care if you ban them or not.

I'd like to add tornados to the banned list.

I have personally seen naked candy corn on the beach having a really good time with a tentacle. It wasn't pretty, that's for damn sure.

Can we add burglars to the ban list?

And crap. We should definitely ban crap.

And catapults. Catapults are a disgrace to Medieval siege engines everywhere.

And bagels. Bagels are like donuts gone bad. They confuse me.

Foisting mental images like that on drive-by lurkers surely ought to be banned.
