Tosh, you are so much more...Tosh-like with your beard. You're so dignified and professorial, the beard works perfectly.

I like the beard because I like men with beards. My husband has had a beard for many years. I can't even remember what he looks like without one.

When our oldest boy was about 3 my husband shaved his then-beard off. He was eating breakfast and we were talking, when our little boy came into the kitchen. He had heard his Dad's voice, but then he saw him and he ran out of the room crying. "Mummy, Mummy, who's that man?" he finally managed to say. It was days before he would sit on his Dad's knee again!

Beards be manly.

I like hairy chestz, too. My youngest son would be quite hairy, but I understand he shaves himself pretty well all over. I find that icky, but he's a grown man and his girlfriend must like it.

I've cried a thousand oceans, and I would cry a thousand more if that's what it takes to sail you home.

omg at your son. :LMAO: Awww. My dad is a mustache guy, but no one even notices when he shaves it off. Dunno why.

The one time I was home from school visiting my dad had shaved his beard off a couple of days before. I noticed it sooner than my mom did. :LMAO: Some people can just carry the beards. ;)

Ags on the other hand, nu-uh. No facial fuzz. I won't allow it. But that's more for other aesthetic purposes. I have enough problems with my own hair blowing in my face when it's windy, thanks. :P

Oh man, it was really you! :D I was waiting for further confirmation. :P
Do you take Paypal, yo? I'd like to retroactively sponser you for that. :toast:
Comic Relief do truly wonderful work, and it's always great to see something original like that... particularly on somebody who doesn't exactly look the type. :P

This guy here is writing my grandfather's biography. When his heart was broken, he showed his grief by doing this:

Pips, pop it into the nearest collecting box/bank whatever. Le me know and I'll add it to my total. A nominal sum is perfectly OK. I have no problem with people giving 50p or so.

The same thing happened to me when I was about four!

I grew a beard when I was 18 years old, right after I graduated from high school. I have never shaved it off since (although I do keep it neatly trimmed). To think, there are parts of my face that haven't felt a razor in 27 years.

Tosh, I think you should keep the half-and-half look. It is very distinguishing. ;)

Er, no. *googles and finds it's an Ian Dury song*

It's amusing to chat to people and you know they think something's odd but can't put their finger on it. :D
Then there are the ones too polite to mention it.

Re: Beards.

My ex-husband has a beard and has ever since he was about 22. I have never seen him without facial hair. My parents came to visit once when my oldest son was about four and he happened to see my Dad in the bathroom, with shaving cream on his face and a razor in his hand! "What is Poppi DOING?" he asked. He had never seen a man shave before!

Of course, letting your children become over-familiar with the shaving process can have unfortunate results too. Case in point? When I was about three or four I decided I'd have a go myself. :blackeye: When I sheepishly went back downstairs, my mum saw me covered in blood and wanted to know what I'd been doing - I told her, in no uncertain terms, "Rabbit did it."

omg pips. :scared: :damnfunny:

I did that too, just no blood. No forearm hair either, though. Thankfully it didn't become an issue that required regular maintenance lol.

I always shaved every day by the way, underneath all the fuzz to keep the neck neat. Or to keep a clear zone between chin and chest. :D I'll keep it like this for another week then decide what I'll do next.

Put us down for GBP 75.

Hell, it's worth it if only to say you're two-faced.
