He's an Abysinnian. Smart, extroverted, and willful, if he had opposable thumbs he would take over the world. Or maybe just steal my car.
ETA: S just told me a funny Uske story. S was cooking himself some fish. Uske likes fish. Uske started making moves on S's meal. Like most cat owners, S and I keep a spray bottle handy for disciplining Uske. Uske is quite familiar with this spray bottle and sometimes all we need to do to dissuade him from something is show it to him. He's promptly back off. And sometimes, there's no dissuading him. This time, S showed Uske the spray bottle and Uske closed his eyes and tilted his ears back, bracing himself. And then S relaxed and went on with his meal prep the cat relaxed and went on with his watching. When Uske thought he saw an oppurtune moment, he again tried for the fish...and met the spray bottle. Once again, he closed his eyes and flattened his ears, ready to get wet.
This standoff continued until S took pity and gave him some bacon.
I am not impressed with S's cat disciplining techniques. And I am deeply worried about a cat who's choosing to get soaking wet on the off chance he'll still get some fish.
