It's an inside joke now at our house. We often tell the cats things in our best witch doctor voice. My favorite part of that video is when he first starts dancing and the cat hightails it out of there.

So our kitten got up on the counter last night and ripped up a whole roll of paper towels. And then barfed in our room. The funny thing about that is I have a reflex now whenever I hear that cat barfing sound at night--I kick my old cat out of bed. She sleeps by my feet, and she is usually the one barfing. And she does not always get out of bed to barf, so I have started kicking her out when she first starts hacking. (I'd rather clean the barf off of the floor than my blankets!)

So I kicked her out last night, but it was the kitten barfing instead! Poor Mama Meow!

Though, despite Uske's best efforts at sabotage, the bread I made yesterday turned out just fine.

Does Uske have a bread fetish, too? Missy is obsessed with bread. We came home yesterday to the last piece of cornbread (wrapped in foil) scattered on the floor. I've never had a cat who cared the least bit about bread.

He will rip through plastic bags to chew on our bread, so we now use the microwave as a bread box. We looked into getting a real bread box, but, uh, S and I eat a lot of bread and Target didn't have any bread boxes big enough.

This time, though, he was after the dough. Really, really, really not good.
