Cats barf where and when they want to, they have no loyalty to certain areas.



And, all I have to offer about wonky cats is that it is Spring and I think they all know that. Mine are driving me bonkers as well, even giving them slightly opened windows and views to the bird feeders has not helped.



Verbal threats about being taken outside to the river do not work, DUH! We need cat ESP, so we could get into their little furry brains and tell them how good they have it as opposed to the alternatives, which they probably would say are better. They are cats, after all,

I am worried about my oldest cat. She has lost her voice. Does anyone know why a cat would be hoarse? Could she have a cold?

Sorry about your cat. A cold can do things to a cat's voice.
Look out for watery eyes or mucus.

I do. I'm certainly no expert, but I have had cats that had colds before and they could hardly meow.
And their eyes would have this muscus stuff dripping from their eyes.
I imagine in that respect they aren't very different from us. I suppose it is even possible they can have allergies.

A cat allergic to cats? Fancy that!

Cats have immune systems so I'd assume they can also have allergies. Probably not to other cats but maybe to humans. How's that for a thought?

Cats certainly can have allergies....to pollens or food ingredients commonly. I suspect my cat Holly might have an allergy to something here in the air in England as sometimes she sneezes a lot and gets watery eyes.

I asked the vet at church about my cat; he said she probably have laryngitis, brought on by strain or a cold/allergies. There's a small chance it could be something more serious (like a tumor pressing on her larynx), so I'll just keep an eye on her as I have been doing. She squeaks a bit now, but it's really rather pitiful. She opens her mouth and nothing comes out or it's a terrible, tiny squeak.

Mama Meow is getting her meow back! Now she just sounds as if she smokes a pack of cigarettes a day.

My little black furry devil looooves bread. And bread-like products in general. Especially bagels with cream cheese...even fruity flavored cream cheeses. And she'll take bread with butter, bread with mayo....or just plain ol' unadorned bread.

Hunh. So it's not just my kitty. I still think it's weird. I've never had a cat who loved bread or bread products. Missy ate a pretzel the other day.
