This thread will end up deleted in no time, so I`d better be short.

So some of you know me, some of them vaguely remember me, and most of you will offer me nothing else but a raised eyebrow I fully deserved. I suppose I never delurked completely, not on TORC, not here. Yet many of you have been more than kind to me, have been real examples, role models, so I said, heck, I should, like, come back.

Lo and behold, my password worked! I`m here. All of you seem to be still here. I was hit by a sudden pang of familiarity when I started browsing the threads, and I said to myself, you know what, old traitor, turncoat, you foold, you`d better stick with these people this time. They`re fabulous people.

You sent me the DVD I most wanted for my birthday - I`ll never forget the day when I first saw an Amazon delivery guy at my door. He was the one and only so far. You sent me earwarmers in blue shades, jeez I still own a pair; the other one I sadly misplaced in my second year of university (2006), and gone it was, but not forgotten. You spent hours talking to me on IM, or replying to me on LJ, or commenting on my silly pictures on FB, or, or, or, and. You inspired me, your love stories, your passions, your dedication and determination. You sent me CDs. And letters. And you showed me that there is life after sufference and there`s something out there for everyone.

I want to thank you, and to ask you: will you have me back?

Don't be so apologetic. Old voices are always welcome. Just chip in to any conversation or go diving into old threads. Or lurk.

@Jude: Oh, that. Saddest story of my life *wipes tear*. I have an excuse though, I was still young and I didn`t know better not to fool around with him; even if he told me that he had a great passion for wildlife and bonding with nature... But ehhh, those times are now gone and forgotten. My lack of ears will forever be remembered as a good bar joke.

Pleased to make your acquaintance

I'm fairly new still, but it hasn't taken me long to feel at home here - it's a great crowd!

I was just on a ~weekend retreat~ and ran into a bunch of people I knew from my early school years. Anyone who knows me probably knows I like to block those times from memory. Yet for the life of me, I couldn't remember any problems I might have had with these folks. I just sat back, chatted to everyone I could, and fully enjoyed myself.

I think it would be a similar deal with TORC-related people. I mean, FOTR came out almost a decade ago now. D: Enough time has passed that I don't much remember the problems I had. Recent posts, maybe but it's nothing major. And I hope others feel like that too, or in the ballpark.

So hey, welcome back.
