The pre-chicken couldn't suddenly become a chicken whilst it was alive. The evolution or mutation that caused a chicken to be a chicken had to happen at a genetic level before it developed. In other words, it happened inside the egg.

The egg came first.

Just sayin :salmon: :D

Hmm, whichever came first was ultimately planned by God in some way--whether through evolution or special creation.

And I also choose apples.

I'd agree with Estel's first post if I understood it.

I choose squash. Squash makes one of my favourite pies.

Oh, no squash. Squash is mostly yucky.

I also agree with Lali's post, except for the erroneous statement that squash is mostly yucky.

I disagree with Lali, especially where she agrees with me (but I agree with where she disagrees with me).

This thread is now about waffles. With honest maple syrup, no corn involved.

Hey, no waffling allowed in this thread! It's either apples or oranges, eggs or chickens, monkeys or cinder blocks. Or whatever.

It's also about agreeing or disagreeing. And about something or anything.

I beg to differ...

I've never heard of butter pecan maple syrup. It sounds like maple syrup with artificial flavouring added. :spider:

How about slathering your waffles with butter, pouring maple syrup over them and then sprinkling shopped pecans on top? Would that be acceptable?

Oh, and I agree with the other posts in this thread except for the ones that were just plain wrong.

It was homemade precioussss - no artificial flavors.

But I lied anyway - boysenberry syrup

Actually, there should just be a table with homemade waffles and homemade pancakes and homemade french toast, with maple syrup, butter pecan syrup, boysenberry syrup, stawberry syrup, blueberry syrup, cinnamon syrup, apple syrup, jim beam maple syrup, plus fresh wild strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples and other fruits, as well as pecans, walnuts...

It wouldn't be bad to have some scones, crumpets, bagels, cream cheese, jams, clotted cream, fresh juice in various flavors, and some savory breakfast foods as well.

Basically, a brunch buffet of the highest quality.

That would be the best.

I'm sure you all agree :D
