That is the quote - I think I saw that version as one of the intermediate steps.

Just out of curiosity, what was the first quote? I can pick out "Bag End", but I can't remember any quotes that mention "Eaves".

"There ain't no eaves at Bag End, and that's a fact."

P.S. Jude, I tried the Translation Party on a big bit of what the dog in your sig is saying. It gave this: "I am a dodecahedron, the world is a sound conclusion, I find the asymmetry." :LMAO:

:D I can't tell whether that makes more or less sense.

Gandalf to Pippin? "We return in a very storm of Mordor. It will be a dark night." Or something like that.

ah - that's Aragorn's line in Moria about Frodo's mithril shirt...

'Here is a pretty hobbit-skin to wrap an elven-princeling in!"

I don't know.

I'm pretty sure your answer is correct - you should go ahead and post the next quote!

Okay...if no one minds, I do have rather an amusing offering..

This one went through some hilarious early stages…

Quote:
Used to stay to work the best opportunities for all older people behind the bar to accept a recall of desire.
Quote:
Remember the golden opportunity, you agree to use the work for the elderly behind bars and every desire

Finally reaching equilibrium at
Quote:
Remember the chance bar, the work should be used for the elderly behind every desire.

I could only recognise it from the first version - thanks for including the earlier incarnations!

This is Éowyn: "To stay behind bars until use and old age accept them and all chance of valor has gone beyond beyond recall or desire."

Right! I know it makes it easier by putting the earlier incarnations in but they are sometimes so much funnier than the end result that it's a shame not to share them!

I don't go on vacations, but I often forget to check the boards. I had a good excuse this time, though - I'm studying! I was having trouble getting a job, so I grabbed an opportunity to do a highly-subsidised TAFE course. The mountains of homework started very quickly (and I also started going to fighter training on Monday as well as Friday, because it's close-ish to school). Anyway, I now have two weeks of holidays, which look to be just as busy but more at home. :)

I'll try to get on here again, but it'll probably go the same way - I'm on for a few days, then I forget again.
