Yes, I know technically this should be in the YouTube thread, but dammit, it's my first camcorder upload.

Oh how I love the Dutch!

They were seriously the coolest fireworks I have ever seen. We went out for a walk after they had died down a little - and by died down, I mean about the level of the 4th of July rather than World War III. We went down one street and they were literally firing off these huge boxes in the middle of the street. Cars and buses driving by on either side... or just pulling over and giving up cause it was just too insane to try and drive by it.

I've never seen anything like it. It was mindblowing. Not to mention eardrum blowing :P

That was brilliant! A friend of my son who has worked professionally with firework displays now works in Taiwan and posted a pic of some Taiwanese building wreathed in fieworks. I sent him a link to your video to show how it should be done.
I didn't set the sound because I didn't want Chez Tosh to be surrounded by SWAT police.
They should rename New Years Eve Mithrandirstag.

Wow! That's amazing! :) I sent the link to my sister-in-law so she can show my brother-in-law. He will appreciate it (considering he spends $600+ on fireworks for the 4th of July).

Mithrandirs- is correct. But not all of the character names translates perfectly from Dutch to English. Most are the same, some are Dutch versions of English names (Peregrijn Toek and Meriadoc Brandebok), some are literal translations from English to Dutch (Treebeard is Boombaard), and some make no sense at all in Dutch (Baggins is Balings, which means nothing at all in Dutch).

-tag? That's German and would get you shot in the Netherlands! -dag!
