Oh, yes, they're testing it again. The lady put in a new machine on Thursday. We'll find out tomorrow (hopefully).

That is true, I forgot about my parents' praise for Arizona. Screw the fountain of youth, I'd travel across continents just to experience breathing air sans humidity! It's not too bad here, outside of the summer months, but the concept sounds beautiful. Florida gave me trouble, I noticed, when I wasn't in Steve & Jen's place. There's a reason saunas have time limits.

Arizona means Arid Zone.

New Mexico is just as dry but we're nicer. (I'm stealing Canada's theme)

I hope it all comes back good and non-radon like.

I did not feel the earthquake as I was in a car getting a ride with my sisters. Our dad called right after since he felt it. It was funny.

About the radon testing s it possible you could negotiate for a lower price of the house in light of a possible 3000 dollar cost? Or is everything already said and done?

That's one possibility--to negotiate the price down accordingly. Or ask the seller to pay for it. It gets a little trickier because we all know each other. But I'll let our realtor handle that if it comes to it.

Well, the new result was also high--4.6. Anything over 4 needs to be mitigated. So we'll let the realtor field that one! I'm not going to stress about it. <repeats that several times> :help: I have too much else to stress about!

:( sorry to hear that, Lali. Hope it's not as bad as it sounds. I'm sure it will work out okay - I still think this house is meant to be for you  (looks wonderful in the photos, btw)

Another earthquake story - a friend was at work watching some people in one of those hanging contraptions for washing windows when it struck. The guy just hung on for dear life until it was over. :Q
