We're forecast to have low 20's all week. It's an absolute dream.
Same for us...it's very pleasant here this week! :D

This is what Canada looks like right now:

If you ever plan to visit Canada, mid-to-late October would be a good time.

I thought Canada looked like moose eating pumpkins off the porches.

Here are some pics of my bald cypress, a great blue heron, and a sun and sky that definitely say it's November even if it is 63F.[ img ][ img ][ img ][ img ]

None of you guys should ever visit Melbourne in a proper summer (which, admittedly, hasn't occurred in a couple of years). Normal summer temperatures are in the 30s C, and a heatwave is a week of 38 to 43. You're lucky to get nighttime temperatures in the 20s during a heatwave.

Autumn having just hit, what, two weeks ago?, everyone in Melbourne is adjusting to the colder feel of the weather. It's not actually much colder than it was in February and early March, but the thankfully-not-tropical-level humidity made it feel hotter then.

Sorry, I don't have photos. My garden is full of weeds anyway.

Meanwhile, we're in the midst of April showers and cool temps. It feels warmer because 45F in the spring is somehow warmer than 45F in the fall.

We hit 80F today, which is warmer than 76% of summer days back before the new normal.

Well, we had a day last (?) last week of 80F. Then the next day it snowed.

This is a mark of autumn here (only in the southern hemisphere):

(Apparently my phone's photos are too high-res to upload, and I can't figure out how to crop them or make them lower-res.)

For those who don't want to use the external links, I just collected a carful of palm branches to decorate my church.

To be fair, those palms somehow make it here for our churches. It's very cool to see them in their natural state, though!

:D

Wouldn't their natural state be Jerusalem?

But in the northern hemisphere, Lent (which name refers to the lengthening of days in spring) isn't in autumn. The southern hemisphere is weird.

Lol.

Yes, Easter in the fall would be odd, as would Christmas in the summer. I can't help it you guys are weird.
