Bought Going Postal and A Hat Full of Sky to add to my hoard.

That's 8 I have to read now.

Yay! I love those two. :D (That is, I love the Nac Mac Feegle. I haven't read Hatful of Sky yet.) Enjoy!

I listened to Terry Pratchett read the first two chapters of Going Postal at WorldCon two summers ago. I hear those two chapters in his voice every time I read it. *nostalgia* ;)

Currently rereading Interesting Times, which was the first Pratchett book I ever owned.

Crivens!

Interesting times still is one of my favorites. It has Rincewind, first ofall. Also, the nice mix-ups with the Agatean language is hilarious. And the story is just great. One of the best Discworlds, and so far the best RIncewind book, in my opinion...

Wow, this place is still alive. Yipee!! :D

Good news!!! I've also acquired some more Pratchett books- Moving Pictures, The Truth, and Lords and Ladies :D

read lords and ladies the most recently....OMG I LOVE IT. It's one of the TOP discworld books......i love the way he portrayed elves. I think we've been doing it wrong the whole time...elves ARE evil :D :D

Ooooh...maybe I should read that one soon. I think I'll stick with Sourcery first, like I had planned, but perhaps that one next.

Hi peeg! Nice to see you around again.

I love The Truth. I think that might be my favourite of all the stand alone books. William de Worde is defintiely my favourite non-recurring character.

Hey mossy :) OMG the truth.....top book!!! 'the truth shall make ye fret' ahahaha :LMAO: I love the dwarves of the press....and Vetinari....and William, who is a recurring character actually, he's in Monstrous Regiment and i have the feeling he'll be turning up in more books. ;)

I'm so hopeless, i'm reading the last continent AGAIN...what can i say? that book feels like home :D :D

Well, i feel decidedly stupid right about now. Well, what do you expect, Rune, when you've got Jae staring at me out of your sig pic, so i imeediatly think it's her?? I don't look at you people's names anymore, a quick look at the avatar and sig is usually enough. Usually

I didn't like that one, actually....mostly cause it was one of the earlier ones, and most of his earlier ones aren't all that. Besides, none of the Ridcully's wizard's faculty from UU was there, even though it was one of Rincewind's books, so that kinda ruined it too. :D

I liked Nigel though. Most incompetent barbarian ever :LMAO:

Crivens! This should be interesting.

Rune, I started Mort yesterday! I love it so far. :D (But then, I'd love anything with Death as a main character.)

If people don't post this forum soon, it will just be me, talking to myself. And I don't think *anyone* wants that.

And i haven't even read the wee free men....well, dammit. I think they should do a better book, like the Truth or Moving Pictures....would have so much more meaning :D

There's a new TV Mini-Series of "Johnny and the Bomb" on BBC at the moment. The two animated series of "Soul Music" and "Wyrd Sisters" were pretty good too!
