Which cliché of mine?

The devasted found child?

The Evil Dark Overlord?

Or the silly, happy hobbit?

Or..... the mule?

Cliche

Hmm my first character...

he has red hair, he is an angsty teenager, and he tries to be wiser than his years.

Defo a cliche I should think.

:D

Gotta love writers and their scribbles

Lets see...elf (who's actually something else) with a famous weapon, a wanderer who was discovered as a baby who hates orcs 'cause they destroyed his adoptive village...there are a few cliche's in there. At least I avoided the overly handsome description or the massive scarring...

Drop dead gorgeous elfess, bear's sword and can turn into birds of prey. Can you get any more cliché than that?? Let's not even go into the silver hair thing.... :LMAO: :LMAO:

Love the Evil Overlord list, Sunsilver :D But despite it i will still indulge in evil maniacal laughter

Errrrr, elf older than the mountains (literally), rebelled against the will of the Gods as a outh, has issues with humans, hung around with most of the major players in the world, known by all as a mysterious shady charictor, dab hand with a bow, long knives, evil sorceres after him....

:Q

Still, at leas its not a blatant Pirates of the Kalinabeen rip off like something else I could write.....

No cliches there, no sireee.

A question I've always wanted to ask:

In real life, my eyes actually do change color with my mood. Does that make me a cliched person? :Q

No, quite unique in fact. In roleplaying you'd be cliche though...

The question is: would it be cliche for LARP? :scratch

So do mine....which means you have my eyes...I am blind :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:

and all I can see is through your eyes and you must be living here and not me.......

Woah, scary image there :LMAO:

No, it would just mean that a single contact lens (cats eye) had fallen into the mud :damnfunny

Din, I'm pretty sure I don't have your eyes. All I see is boring, drab Oklahoma, not London. And I sure as heck don't see any b77ers.

I don't know if it would be cliche for LARP - I've never had a chance to do that. Yet another item on my list of things to do before I die... :bawl:

When they write it it's a cliche.
When you write it it is a stereotype.
When I write it it's an archetype.

All chandeliers must be supported by one weak link.
All candlesticks on the heavy table in the middle should hold one steel bar disguised as a candle.
When the hero jumps on the table stick him in the foot. He's just made it easy for you.
If you are forcibly marrying the heroine in the small chapel with the corrupt bishop make certain the door is bolted and don't answer it in the middle. And make sure the stained glass window is one inch thick.
Have someone look at the drawbridge mechanism who knows what they are doing; not a weekend DIYer.
If after all this you have to slip away for your own safety, have three other doubles in the same clothing leave at the same time.
