I want to discover something special. :(

But, you've got to admit, this is so cool.

I'm a big fan of Frost's ability to write in meter that is easy to read and scan, with rhyme that works without being forced.

It would be amazing to make such a discovery, but you can be sure it will be scrutinized. At least, this discovery has a pedigree (in that the discovery was the result of a remark in a letter which was followed up on; it didn't come out of the blue).

This is unlike a supposed discovery of a Dickinson poen a while back that was produced by a notorious forgerer and murderer.

You would think that people would VERY carefully look it over, compare it with other works from the poet, etc...BEFORE paying for it.

 :rage:

That is very cool. It would be neat to discover something like that, wouldn't it? So do you have a link to the poem itself?

There are two stanzas from the poem in the linked article; also the aricle states the the poem will be published in "The Virginia Quarterly Review".

There are? I don't remember seeing them. Guess I'll have to go read that article again!

Ah, I see them now. I didn't go on to the next 2 pages. :doh1:

It'll be interesting to read the entire poem when it gets published.

Yup I like Robert Frost too. used one or two of his poems in my blog before.

And to discover something, I'm with Dawn and lali, how cool would that be!
