A very enjoyable documentary.

Extremely informative while still entertaining. I can't imagine sitting in Antarctica filming Penguins for a year, but I'm glad they did.

I have been wanting to see this since I read a magazine article about the filmographers. Glad to hear at least one person liked it! :)

Not playing anywhere close right now. Curse this town.

Saw it the week it came out. I went in expecting lots of cute penguins. I ended up with an great deal of respect for them and their endurance, ability to survive, etc. Definitely an excellent documentary, an d worth seeing on the big screen.

And the wee penguins were really cute. :D

My folks took my nieces and nephew to see this last week and they all really enjoyed it; I'd like to see it.

There was sort of similar film about 20 years ago called "The Bear" that followed a bear cub for its first year of life....I enjoyed that....you might want to check it out, too!

If you like The Bear then be sure to see Two Brothers, the newest "nature" movie also by Jean-Jacques Annuad. It follows the lives of two tiger cubs separated at birth. Starring Guy Pierce & Freddie Highmore.

Penguins is coming to our theater on Thursday! Yeah!! :D

*Remembers the film*
*Realizes it really was almost 20 years ago*
*Freaks out a little*
