Okay, then. Thanks a million! I shall change it to 'It would be unfair'

(subject to further comments, of course)

Ok, we will plan on opening the vote tomorrow after Nin has a chance for a thorough read-through, and after she has made any comments and suggestions she has.

Thanks for checking in, everyone!

Ax, I have to apologize, I totally missed this when you said it,
Quote:
I would prefer three, just because I like the number better.
and the next thing I wrote was, 'Ok, I've changed it to two objections.'

That must have seemed so rude! So should I change it to three?

Nin, I know it's hard to be specific about what you might not understand if you're not sure you don't understand it ...

Were there parts of the ballot you had a harder time with? Did you want to talk about those before we proceed to a vote?

No, I printed it out and read it several times, in fact it's crystal-clear, I just had to gather concentration.

Thank you, Nin!

Committee, this means we can get this vote underway!

Once again allow me to review the voting procedure here for those who haven't participated in a committee vote before.

We will vote here in this thread.

We copy the question no. (it isn't necessary to copy the question text along with it) and then copy the preferred option, either with the text or just the letter.

Thus,

Question 1.
A. I agree to include the portion of the statement shown in red

or thus,

Question 1.
A

for the ranked answers, copy the list of numbers, and fill in your choice.

Question 1.
1=B
2=A
3=C

and so on down the line.

We will need at least two designated back-up counters.

I'll post the results here after I confer with the other counters, and then I will start a new thread for the next ballot, and we can continue our discussion there.

Who will count? (Who here is familiar with counting the IRV options?)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Question 14 had an option added late and I forgot to change it from

PLEASE SELECT ONE to

PLEASE RANK IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE

I have changed it now, but if anyone got to it before I made the change, you will have to rank Q. 14 rather than just choosing one answer.

Thanks!

Thank you, Voronwe. :)

We just need one more volunteer. Does anyone else know how to count the IRVs?

Voronwe can explain it to you. :D

Cerin, we've certainly gotten by before with only two people counting, though a third is certainly preferable.

And I am hardly an expert on counting IRVs. I'm usually the one that messes it up. :oops:
