We hardly notice.
True story.
You do notice though, just not in a giving a critique sort of way. You notice the women who dress well and have nice bodies.

You see right through the women who don't.

Ok, maybe not in the case of friends or people you know, but men don't notice women who aren't attractive/have nice bodies/etc. You just look right through them, if you're looking in their direction at all. An attractive women gets looked at by men. An unattractive or fat woman simply doesn't exist. Just isn't there.

I say this from experience.
True story(ies)
Well we do notice extremes with regards to wardrobes, but I know damn well we can't remember any details. Ask another woman and she can rattle off everything she was wearing from head to toe including style and color.
Guys like the image but are certainly not interested in the details.
That is reserved for the other women.

And we notice all women. We just don't drool over all women. :P

Not me. I can't even remember what I was wearing yesterday. *Thinks for a moment* No... I really can't.

And I detest the muscle-bound look. It makes their heads look too small. You want to turn my head with musculature, go for the dancer's form.

Well I was generalizing. Sure that isn't true of everyone.
I still say more woman than men pay attention to those details.

You've got to be kidding! Men can look great bald! Capt. Picard comes to mind. The guy in Pitch Black, as well "Riddick". And my optometrist/former judo sparring partner....

My particular guy isn't going bald, but I'm sure he'd look great if he did.
Men in general would rather not be bald than be bald. Some men can pull it off, some can even shave their head and pull it off. But given a choice, we men think we look better with a full head of hair.

And no amount of "but I like bald men" from women is really all that convincing.

That is probably true.

I was just going to feel all smug about how diverse the Watchmen cast were compared to your average American superhero group (I really don't do comics usually) when I actually came to compare the characters and their figures. D:

That photo image is so wrong.

I mean where does he keep his Polo mints and bus pass and house keys and Tesco card? Those pouches are really handy.

Don't forget Dr. Manhattan, Pips! People were bitching about his dick being too big when in the comics it is supposed to be ~small and uncut~ to represent the frailty of mankind or something.

Meh, I figured his penis was smaller in the comics because he was a perfectly normal guy before he became God. But there's a major discrepancy between percieved average penis size and actual average penis size - apparently there was a documentary about it recently, and they put it down to porn. I didn't see it, but my girlfriend was telling me about it. I guess it's because people see less daily penis than they do boobies? You can't see much detail through clothes.

Ergh, I can't tell the difference between a big one and a small one, how they're supposed to be perceived or not. It's such a small part of the anatomy, nothing stands out besides whether they've been circumsized or are especially hairy/long/thick/short/curved. Chests are more sizable. Not necessarily more varied in shape, but I guess easier to tell the differences in them.
