Thanks to everybody.

Maybe next year, I'm dreadfully broke.

I'll stand in line for some contribution next year.

I might transfer some money to someone who'll meet you in Ireland.

Or I'll take the option via amazon - but won't I need your address then?
the only vouchers I got from amazon were to be sent as letters. Or do they work with mail addys, too?

I'll ask around at work to find out the easiest way to get money to Canada.

You can send amazon vouchers via email address.

No rush though - our next bill isn't due until next year!

so it seems the cheapest way would be to make a transfer directly to your bank account :D (well that's the advantage of working in a bank - no fees ;) )

But amazon would work fine with me, too. I did buy something at amazon.ca before, so I even have an account there :D

when's the next bill due? january to pay in advance or september as it's an annual payment??

Both our domain name and hosting bills will be due in September.

Hi from JOKER.com (Joker.com as an ICANN accredited registrar)!

(Please see below for German language text)

This mail is to inform you that your domain

########################################

board77.org

Expiration:2009-09-05 (YYYY-MM-DD)

########################################

which is registered with us (Joker.com) is going to expire on
-- 2009-09-05 --

(that means it will be disabled on Sat, 05 Sep 2009 00:00:00 CEST)

You have received this mail because our records show you as the
"billing-c" of this domain.

The service zone at https://joker.com has an entry "Renewal of a
domain" which allows you to make the payment for the renewal
of your domain(s) using credit-cards.
Please be aware that without renewal your domain(s)
will be deactivated at expiration date, You can find the expiration
date using our whois-service at joker.com, too.

We advise you to make the renewal ASAP, at least 1 week before
the announced expiration date 2009-09-05.
This is just our domain name - I assume our hosting with mxhub will be due to be renewed around the same date.

We have just under two months to come up with the funds, so this is just a heads up for now. I'll start a new thread for this year's fundraising drive so as not to clutter up the first post of this thread.

Um - good question. I didn't even notice that the amount is not in the email.

Rangers - did I post the password for our joker registration account in one of the Rangers-only forums? If so, could you PM it to me? Thanks.

Helloooo rangers... :poke:

I looked up my records from last year - it cost us $12 US for the year. However, I need the password so that I can log in and confirm that it's the same for this year...

Our hosting will come up for renewal on 24 Sept - last year it was $119.40 US for the year.

Okay, I checked - the domain name renewal is $12 US for the year. There isn't any discount for renewing for more than one year.

Whatever the running costs, just let me know what's to pay and where/when. Estel and I'll cover it. No need to involve the board.

That's really, really kind of you and Estel. I bet you people will still want to help out so you don't have to bear the brunt of the costs.

I do want to make sure everyone knows that what I said has absolutely no negative connotation at all. I do think it's awesome they want to help. That's they type of people they are. They do it because they care. I want them to know that I really appreciate it.

Oops, forgot to post here

The bill for domain name renewal is $12 US. We haven't received a bill yet for the hosting, so I wouldn't worry about that until we get one - it's not due until December.

You can contribute by PM'ing me for my paypal address. Make sure to let me know the amount before you actually pay, or we might end up with too much. :Q

If you end up with too much can you set it aside for the hosting bill or next year's round?
