Come ye all to this humble party, for I have successfully completed my course, Cultural Heritage BA and graduated!

Four years flew by so fast I can hardly believe it. I still remember walking through the academy doors in 2006 and feeling very excited and overwhelmed by all the new faces, rules and knowledge that was being bestowed upon me. All too soon I met a group of wonderful people and we stuck by each other through all the hardships that comes with a university course. We had our own little fellowship. Of course I b*tched to alot of you here too when things weren't going right and you always gave me good advice. Please keep doing that now I am jobhunting.

Last Friday was the final day I walked through my academy doors. I'll miss the weird crowd our course attracks. We're not artists, dancers or actors. They all go to other courses. We're just the weird bunch that care enough about old objects, art and documents, the stuff they make, that we want to spend a lifetime saving and preserving and presenting it for and to future generations.

And suddenly I am expected to know most of what there is to know about this area. I am pretty confident I do. But now the hardest part is to find work. I tried finding jobs in my own field of expertise but so far after numerous applications no luck ("too little experience"), so I decided to go look elsewhere for work. I just moved in with my significant other so I need some income. I currently am asked to meet with the store manager and region manager of a wellknown shoebrand to see if I am qualified to get the job of assistent storemanager.

But for now please come on in and have a glass of champagne.

"Here's to one finished chapter and to many more yet to be written."

I've cried a thousand oceans, and I would cry a thousand more if that's what it takes to sail you home.

(It's my last post for a few weeks, what better reason to go all out than a graduation.) :blackeye:

You need a computer for that to work. :P Or be in a house with wireless capability. And have the time to try it between touring and visiting relatives. Shall see!

But if you miss me that much, I has a personal cell you can send me naughty texts at. :heya:
