But it is very important to understand the human form in order to draw a person properly.
Jude, unless you have some sort of motor impairment or learning disability (which you've never indicated), I think you can learn. I do think there is an inherent talent, however, that only some people are blessed to have. IOW, you can improve, for sure, but you can only go so far if you're not gifted.
I am a decent drawer; I'm not gifted. I just barely qualify as slightly talented. Katie, otoh, is already better than I was at her age. I think she's probably better than my mom.
