Good point, maybe this does belong in Thinking of England.
What of it? Good question...
I just thought maybe this would start some interesting conversation. The essay is sort of formal, and at a glance, seems to be well referenced. Just thought maybe this would bring forth a sex ideal conversation.
For me, I have an ideal of sex only with love, but it never seems to work out that way in my life. "Is this because I'm weak?" I ask myself... But it has always seemed to me that Tolkien's work has appealed to my heart, not so much my ego. And i think it is my ego that is caught up in sex without love. Or maybe it is my ego that is caught up in saying "my ego is caught up in sex without love."
Ok, yes, let's move this to Thinking of England.
