Heeey now!
We all think Tolkien is cool, so it makes them cooler, not geekier.
My dad is half Hungarian and half German. I guess that makes me 25% of each, and my mom has quite the mixed heritage--Scottish, Irish, Cherokee, and probably French, English, & Welsh. The Scottish blood is actually the largest percentage of her ancestry, but I'm not sure I can put a percentage on it given how mixed up it all is (and there is some question as to certain aspects of my parentage that I won't go into here, only to say that much of that is uncertain). That Celtic blood, which is certain, however, probably makes up about 25-35% of my blood. I guess I've always identified more with that aspect of my ancestry than any other, maybe because of the red hair. Which isn't even really Irish, so there you go.
To quote one of my old ranks, "Consistently Inconsistent." That is me!
