Listening to one of my parent's favourite old songs, back as they say, when Rod Stewert rocked and Ron Wood wasn't a hired hand for the Rolling Stones.
Lately I've been listening to some CDs in my collection, and one that returned to being stuck in rotation is the Arctic Monkeys 'Brianstorm'.
Went youtubing and found this great live vid of one of their songs from that album.
It's not too bad. I like the harpsichord. The words don't make much sense (overall).
This is not a contender for song of the year, but it's my latest earworm*:
*Funny story.
So my friend's husband put her onto this song, which she then shared with me. Instant earworm. I send her a text the next day: BTW, you and Bob are so dead. That song is now an earworm!
She sends back an apologetic text that I don't quite get but I figure she's being sarcastic. ("I'm so, so sorry! " ) I reply with sarcasm, "Yeah, right. Whatever."
So a few hours later, she texts me, "I just figured out what an earworm is! I thought I messed up your computer! You SUCK!! Middle finger at U!"
Yeah, apparently she told her husband that they somehow gave my computer a virus, and he was able to piece together what really happened after awhile. "What were her exact words?"
