Roy Dotrice narrated all of them, but with the long gap between book 4 and 5, he got pretty old. According to wikipedia, he's 89 years old right now. His narration lost a lot of quality with book 5, so it's a lot harder to listen to. The earlier books, he did well on- the latter ones, not so much. It's understandable but frustrating.
We commute about 45 minutes a day, and long, long books make for a lot of entertainment. I'd like to finish the book, but my husband simply can't stand the narration. I've been listening to it on my own but it's not good enough to hold my attention for long.
*sigh*
I really am going to have to get it in book format. I hate paying for things twice!
Oh!
*light bulb goes off*
Library! I can get
fiction there, too!
(Been using it for health related books only for so long I lost sight of that!)
