I've no idea. :) All I know is, it's a Welsh waterfall. Avi not made by me -- it's from swanboat_icons on LJ.

I think it might be the Mynach Falls, near Devil's Bridge, which you can get to by steam train from Aberystwyth, which is where I live. :)

I just came back from the New New Star Trek. Some of the shots near the beginning were the best 3D effects I've ever seen :Q

Minor spoilerish question (but near the beginning of the movie, so not really a spoiler):

Since he met his older self in movie 1, shouldn't Spock have known that he was going to survive that volcano?

Yep, he's totally on his own.

I saw it in 2D with Freddy. It was still quite awesome, but I agree, Jude, that the 3D stuff was well done.

Okay, that makes sense - it's been a long time since I saw movie 1.

Lali, do you have a 3D theatre near you? This is one movie I really recommend seeing in 3D. See it again if you can - even if you can only stay for the first 20 minutes or so!

I saw it in 3D the first time I saw it. It was very cool! (It wasn't IMAX, but that was okay. I preferred it not being in IMAX, I think. The regular 3D glasses weren't nearly as annoying as the IMAX ones.)
