I didn't know people still played Bridge today! :Q

Do you play Croquet, too? ;)

More people meet up to play bridge in the world than chess.

And courtesy of Cambridge, I'm a fucking great croquet player. Just missed out of the university team.

That's probably because you need four people for bridge but only two for chess! ;)

LOL - there's a sedate, Victorian quality to those games, I think (that's why I thought of croquet when I read bridge) - they are so nicely quaint!
And those are all not really words you'd normally associate with TheLidlessEyes.

Fascinating! ;) :D

I used to play bridge. Grew up with bridge-playing parents and grandparents. Haven't been able to drum up three other players recently. I've had to settle for hearts.

If you watch my mom play, you would not call her Victorian, sedate, nice, or quaint. She plays for blood.

A fun game is where you play for alcohol, not points...although it can get confusing when someone says, 'Double".

Ah ... bridge.

Used to play, used to play.

Could play quite well, too! As Laureanna said, it is hard to get together some other people for bridge nowadays.

Maybe a better idea to play honeymoon bridge :P
