I also tried to update several things. I added a month or so onto the last set of rangers' reentry dates, since they were late in getting replaced. The Administrator's signature is updated, and Mossy is now blue.

Elsha's on board! She's busy with school but can help out. Don and Elian aren't able to do it right now.

So that will give us 4 Rangers. Do we want to wait a bit to ask anyone else? That way we can have terms that are more staggered? Also, if one of you wants to Rangerize Elsha that'd be good. I'm supposed to be sewing.

Yep, seems I've been Rangerized. Hi, everyone. I haven't been around much lately but I will definitely be able to stop by a couple times a day to check in and do Ranger-y things.

I checked with jewelsong who had indicated she wanted to be added as a Ranger in the "Want to be a Ranger?" thread, and it doesn't look like she ever got added to the pool. She says she's still interested. Do we plug her in now or later? Or am I forgetting some policy/procedure here?

Is she already in the pool? If not, I think we add her to the bottom. If she is and it's her turn to Ranger, I don't see why she can't just be Rangerized.

She's not in the pool, but she should've been a long time ago.

Well, we could ask her if she's anxious to do it soon or prefers to wait while her name bubbles up to the top.

Incidentally, I noticed something about the admin panel while adding Elsha to the Administrators group. There's a checkbox that says "Set as default group". If you check it she becomes the Ranger colour, so we don't have to ask her to make the change herself.

I think I discovered that when I was de-rangering people.

Sorry if this is a stupid question--but the last time I rangered, the "edit" button was right next to the "quote" button on every post. I remember because I accidentally chose the wrong one a couple of times and had to fix someone's post I accidentally edited. But I don't see it there...am I just totally nuts/behind the times?

They're next to each other at the bottom of every post. Is that what you mean?

That's what I meant, yes...so it seems for some reason I can still only edit my own posts. I have access to the Admin Control Panel and everything. I'll see if I can fix my own permissions to get the edit function added.
