Jn,

No I’m not really in a panic - I just said that for dramatic effect ;). I’m ready whenever my time comes up, but I would like a little warning so that I can have time to learn the ropes. I’ve been to the experimental board, but haven’t registered yet. I suppose I should - no time like the present, eh?

Here’s where my current “panic” is coming from.

Rodia timezone Europe, 1 Jan 05
Guruthostirn timezone US, 1 Feb 05
Jnyusa timezone US, 15 Feb 05
Areanor timezone Europe, 9 Apr 05
Holbytla timezone US, 9 Apr 05
vison timezone US, 9 Apr 05
Alatar timezone Europe, 9 Apr 05
tinwe_linto timezone US, 9 Apr 05

Rodia, I believe, is traveling during the summer months. I assume she’s out for this term, but don’t know for sure.

I haven’t seen any response from Guru in this, or any other thread, so I don’t know about him.

You have opted out for work reasons.

Areanor may not wish to serve at this time for personal reasons.

Holby has stated he will not be around as much during the summer, although he has said he will serve if we are in a “lurch” (not sure what the Adam’s Family has to do with this, but that’s Holby for you).

Vison stated some time ago that she may not be available for some time due to health reasons. I understand that she is doing better than expected (last I heard) but I haven’t seen any response from her on the current rotation.

Which leaves Alatar and then me. Of the seven ahead of me only Alatar and Guru seem definite, and I’m not even sure about them. On top of that there has now been some discussion about increasing the number from 5 to 7, meaning that we will need 4 new ones instead of 2.

I hope you can see my “concern” :).

tinwe,

When you do register at the experimental board, let me know so I can make you an admin. :)

Don't make him an admin! We need someone to practice banning and confining to forums. We've got work coming up!

Oh, all right. But he can't go assuming he'll get treated nicely all the time.

I'll just wait till he's an admin and I'm not. heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh

Edit: Ethel has asked to be put back on the list for admin  , but I am not sure what date to assign for her entry. She volunteered and then stepped away for a while. I don't know what the initial date was. Jn, do you have it?

:Q

Perhaps as a parting gift for admins, a small but tasteful basket of Anthy's "Uncle Archie's Special Fraction-At-Six" Homemade Cookies could be provided?

STAT?

Prim: Jn, do you have it?

No. I took her out of the pool when she asked to be removed and no longer have the original volunteer date. But since Ethel stated her intention to be as-if-unregistered until we opened, I think it would be more appropriate to put her current date of re-volunteering as her entry date anyway.

That sounds fine, Jn. I'll do that now.

And Anth . . . cookies? You think we need cookies?

It's gotten that bad?

Well . . . perhaps. . . .

Thanks, Maiden - we only record rough areas for timezones, I guess GMT -4 or 5 or 6 are all "timezone US" for our purposes?

Cookies? :suspicious:

HOBBY! Stay away from the cookies! Trust me, they're very dangerous.

Hence the suspicious look on my face, Elti! :P

Wondering whether they are for reward or revenge! ;)

Anthy cookies!?

Er... um ... why they are delicious and you can be sure of a favourable reaction, especially if you want to experience

this ... :Wooper:

or this ...

or even this ... :drunk:

and then there's always this ... :horse:

which might possibly lead to this ... :fight:

And GMT -7. :Q I think that we should be more specific. There is almost as big a difference in the time from where I am to the east coast of the U.S. as there is from the east coast to parts of Europe.

Jn, should the list here be a copy of yours, then? It has more information.

Sure, I'll have to assemble it, though, because right now I've got a "roster" that showns names and entry dates alone, and then a list of all members with their time zone and language info, entry date, join date and their # on the phpbber member list page so that post count can be quickly viewed. That's in alpha order.

What you want for the first post here is the info like that shown above, so I have to go to the second roster and pull up all the names that have 'yes' under admin pool and put them in entry date order.

I'll do it a bit later in the afternoon and post it here.
