Alatar, that's so exciting!
I'm really glad for you.
And what is this bootleg of which you speak? From where do you get it?
TM, I look forward to your post and like your new avatar. (That dress!
evertime I listen to the soundtrack and think of the play I almost burst, for lack of a better word. I'm almost overwhelmed, does that make sense? I have so much love for this musical and everything that goes along with it.
It makes SO much sense. Defying Gravity made me cry both times I saw it on stage, because it so completely overwhelmed me, and sometimes it does on the OCR, too. Wicked may not be the best or the most enduring show, but it's so much a part of me. My roommate calls me Elphie. It's the soundtrack to my life, and I'm sure I'll exhaust much of my savings on seeing it (not to mention all of the other shows of which there are far too many!). (I'm sure I've said all this before, but I'm saying it again.
)
edit: I'm watching the Broadway's Best at the Boston Pops, and they just had Kristin Chenoweth on singing Candide. And OMG (fangirl moment) she was hilarious. She's brilliant and I love her.
