I was in Windsor, Ontario, Canada hanging out with a "neurotic jackass" aka my sister city aka Rodia.

Actually, I'm looking at a clock that says 9:30, and around this time on this day last year Cemthinae and I were zooming up I-75 toward Detroit, Michigan in my little Chevrolet Cavalier going about 90mph. Only one car passed us the entire way there.

:D:D:D:D

blah... I look awful.

Wahhhh...

That was the best day trip ever. The pictures aren't flattering but man...

We need more Ro&Ro moots. And I wasn't neurotic nor a jackass. I was just excited and tongue-tied. And you kept turning right.

Cemthinae: Okay, Kat, now turn left.
LoR: *turns right violently*
Cem:Okay....that means we have to go around the block again.
Ro: BUAHA
Cem: Here, turn left here, Kat.
LoR: *turns right*
Ro: BUAHAHA
Cem: That's all right...if you turn left at the next crossing we'll be okay...

*half an hour and about five turns right later, miles out of Windsor and heading towards Toronto*

Cem: Kat...please...last chance...get it right...I MEAN LEFT

:LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

We were... silly, to say the least.

And it's not my fault that left-turns aren't allowed in Windsor!!! Every freakin time you two wanted me to turn left, there was a sign that said "no left turn". And then the one time I did turn left, the Canadians behind me started honking the horn and making rude gestures. grr-face

Ro, befittingly, should start up the ringbearer congrats in Talk, if no one already has.

Given LoR's posting frequency, it might well run as long as Scribs did before the 10k is reached.

It's Ringbearer. It should count.

Can I have a party on TORC and on B77?

And Lidless, just because I lost my taste for spam doesn't mean I'm a bad person! Taking a shot at posting frequency... :P

Our biggest weed transplantation. Also used for mudwrestle movies and huge orgies...

Seriously: It's either the canal running horizontal that connects the North Sea with the Ysselmeer (that big lake) or the vertical canal that runs from that other canal to the North where our marine force is located. Both are used for trade. If I'm correct. Ironically, in history class we mostly talked about foreign history...

Not. A. Clue.

The 'Elfstedentocht" (Tour of 11 Cities, loosely translated) is a big Dutch event in Northeastern Holland (the province of Friesland to be precise). In the winter when the rivers freeze, a big iceskatingtour is held that runs through those 11 cities. Not sure how long it is exactly, but it's quite impressive. Has been cancelled the last few years, because of soft winters...

Cool stuff, Alandriel!!

Is it just me, or has TORC gone downhill big time. Just 7 posts in 7 odd hours for the latest ringbearer, nothing in Talk I'd want to post to, about two threads in Movies of interests.

...and to top it off, TWat's thread in Talk re the ROTK:EE

Maybe I'm biased. Maybe I'm not.

It's good to see I'm not alone in my complete frustration over this. I may mail the mods later on, asking to put it to movies.

I've only been posting in my own thread lately, and hardly see any change coming...

You're right Steve.

From my p.o.v. it's got something to do with the fact that most of my friends are posting more over here. Hence the obscene post-count increases on the B77 side of the fence.

And as for that ROTK EE thread in Talk    sums it up really. not that i could even join in if I wanted to - at this rate I'll be writing off the money spent on amazon and hunting for a copy in the Christmas sales. :rage:

Ag - I think the Mods should be mailed straight away with that.

( can you tell I'm not very pro-TWT? )

I'm sorry that TORC is so dead suddenly ... I still have friends there that is not on B77, so for the time being I've got a foot in both messageboards ;)
