Merry Christmas my dear friends. It has been fabulous knowing you or getting to know you, and hopefully I'll get to know those few ones I still don't know better soon.

Merry Christmas!
Joyeux Noël!
Fröhliche Weihnachten!

There were moments in the last weeks, when I had lost faith...

Thank you for all you here for giving it back to me.

Is the big day today or tomorrow for you? Everyone in Norway celebrates Christmas Eve - tomorrow things are a bit (not much  ) over - but I guess 25th is the most important day for many people?

God Jul!

(...again...)

Today for me!

In fact I should go wash up and figure out what I'm going to wear.

Defintely tomorrow here. Though I prefer the anticipation of Christmas Eve. I've made the mince pies and should be going to get the nibbles and sweets set out shortly.

Have a fabulous Christmas...

and thank you all for helping restore my faith in human kind. You lot are amazing!:mrgreen::mrgreen:

*bounce bounce bounce*

I just opened my presents!

My sister got me a Deluxe Poseable Gimli Action Figure.
My grandma got me a revealing silk nightdress and said it was for when I go to California.

:Q

I am not sure what to think of this.

Well, here we are, two days after moving in and breaking our backs - in the middle of Wisconsin, it's -25C (about -30F), in the middle of cow territory, no mobile phone and a scrappy internet.

We flew here yesterday - delayed about 3 hours. God is all-seeing? Crap. If he had a scintilla of common sense, he would have arranged for Xmas to be in the summer months. Better weather and fewer flight delays. I know he moves in mysterious ways, but obviously when mini-Me was born in the warm climate of the Middle East, he just plain forgot about the rest of us. The southern hemisphere of course doesn't count. It never has.

This'll probably be the one and only time we'll be able to get on the internet, so a happy Xmas to all our readers.

Steve - God did Christmas right, you just live in the wrong hemisphere  I had a lovely 80F Christmas.

Yes, the Big Day is the 24th, for South Africans ... Christmas dinner then, and prezzies are opened. the 25th is a day for church service, a LIGHT lunch under a summer canopy of leaves, and an afternoon nap.

Geseënde Kersfees, almal! En 'n gelukkige Nuwe Jaar!

This is when being 50km from the nearest mountain range, and 600m above sea level, pays.
I might be going to the mountains tomorrow to play in the snow. :Q

Okay, OKAY, so I'm late. But to my defense, I dread Christmas and am always relieved when it's over without any big family... what's the word... catastrophes.

Think Friends' Chandler Bing and Thanksgiving, and you'll get a general picture.

*sigh*

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!!1 No snow here either. Oh Gawd, must sleep now for a week or so.
