I did have that DVD, but I lent it to my parents before I had a chance to watch it, then they lent it to my grandmother, Steve and I moved countries twice, etc etc.
We've gotten a new copy just two days ago, but I'm unsure whether or not I want to watch it before - I think I'd rather see the opera fresh, without the voices of other singers clouding my head.
I don't really need to know more about the story. I just like to hear peoples thoughts on the opera, whether from a singers perspective or an audience viewpoint. How people relate to various bits, what's your favorite bit, where do your emotions run highest when watching and/or singing it. Who your favorite performers of this opera are from an emotional standpoint... from a technical standpoint.
TBH, I don't know exactly what I'm looking for.
