Thanks for the answer, Jnyusa...that's pretty much what I'd thought. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Not many votes (yet). How many people must voice an opinion for something to be done?

I voted for option A. Temperamentally I am a little sad to see forums disappear but I think it is useful to have changes once in a while. Small steps at first are sensible. There is no reason why we can't continue to make small changes providing we don't make life awkward for our posters in doing so. Meet and Geek and RP are fairly specific forums that people go to for a purpose so it is wise to leave them as they are. Putting slow moving subjects into larger fast moving forums like Turf seems likely to make them hard to find but if someone such as yov wants to post in a different forum from time to time there is no harm done.

In my original post on this, I pointed out the apparent absurdity of having 19 forums on a board that barely seems to have 19 active members. Ummmm, has anybody noticed that Option A still has 19 forums?

Actually yova, there are three less forums. However, for the sake of completeness, I included the hidden fora in the list. Of which there are 3.

Also, moving most of the business threads to the bottom of the page leaves the regular stuff up top and easier to see.

And of course, you still have the "View all threads since my last post" which effectively pulls everything onto one page for you. Which is what you really want isn't it?

So this way, those of use who want a little structure can have that, and those who want all threads in one place can have that.

What more could you want? :)

I counted, and you are correct. Maybe we can combine most of those management forums. All but sensitive info since that is read only to rangers.

Next Monday (29th May) is a Bank Holiday in the UK; I very much doubt the vote will change, so I'll start the consolidation process then (if I can - I have family visiting, but I think they leave on Monday). :)

They're my husband's family. Of course they take precedence. :P ;)

As a proud user of View posts since last visit (:D), I didn't even notice at first that anything had been done, but I think it looks good. :)

Thanks Sharky! :) Alatar was guiding me, so the merit is all his.
I'm going to tackle the Hall of Fire forum now, it will take a while longer while I re-distribute all the threads... :)
