I'd drawn an avatar, but I'm being extra-thick and cannot resize it to the appropriate 10k without it becoming tiny. Anyone could help?

Okay, I seriously don't know what's wrong with that thing. It's linear, yet HUGE.

The best I could do is make it into a smaller avatar. Which I would actually suggest...our 300x300 limit is a bit ridiculous IMHO, avatars over 200 in width already look too big.

(avatars, not sigs mind)

best I could do, ber, sorry. :P

Well I didn't do what you wanted to though, I had to make it smaller...

But when I tried crunching down the bites and leaving it at 300x300 it just wouldn't go. :Q It's a right mystery to me.

No, you did what I wanted: to resize it down to something approaching 10k, but bigger than 1cm across. :)

But now comes the REALLY freaky thing: I copied the image you had in your post. It was 10.2k. So I opened it in Photoshop, reduced it a little (150 in width, instead of 160something)... and the file size went up to 11.1k. :Q

I must be doing something wrong, and I hve no clue what that is. :scratch
