Um, spoiler warning for the whole thread. :D

Smallville was brilliant the other night.

That line at the end where Lex goes up to the doctor and the doc says "this isn't the most typical of pregnancies" left me with my jaw somewhere in the vicinity of my nipples. Lex is pure evil! And Lana is finally figuring things out. I can't wait for next week!!!

Hal?

Can we also talk about how to spell 'goddess' here?

:P

I've never seen an episode of Smallville, but I belong in this thread. Oho, yes indeedy I do. :D

Much of Smallville is filmed in and around Cloverdale, BC, the little town where I went to High School.

Several episodes were filmed at that high school (although it's a different building now). Several episodes featured the heritage building that was the Seniors' Rec Centre where I used to work. I regret to say that the fact that those buildings featured in my life are not yet recognized by plaques or statues, or anything of that nature although I am sure that recognition is coming!!!

People from here who watch it regularly recognize local farms, etc., the main street is Cloverdale's main street.

And there is a farm that has been used for countless episodes of various TV shows, and it has been in many movies, and a childhood chum owns that farm. Mickey Rooney used to sit at his kitchen table and chat whilst "The Black Stallion" TV series was filmed.

Kewl, eh?

And of course, Vancouver was the X-files. Another program I never watched. Tried it once and gave up, it was all dark and I couldn't see anything.

I used to sit behind Gillian Anderson at the ballet. She always came late and left early. To avoid the autograph hounds, I guess.

The episode set near St. Louis--aka the genie in the rug in the storage locker, one of their funniest off-plot thread ones--was particularly amusing. It's like, guys, no, there aren't even tiny mountains visible from St. Louis. :D

I will watch from my quiet little corner because I love Smallville but don't have access to the new shows due to a lack of cable.

I love Lex and hate Lana. So, I might not belong here in the opinions of some of you.

I imagine Gillian Anderson sitting around telling her friends how she used to sit in front of vison at the ballet. ;)

You know, if you get any cuter I might just have to adopt you.

I would make brownies quite often, fold your laundry very nicely, and make sure your cat behaved itself.

Speaking of folding laundry, I found the most incredible link about folding shirts over on Snopes. If I can find it again, I'll post it.

At my age, I can get quite excited about folding laundry.

I love Gillian. At least she's short enough that she didn't block your view, right? ;) I hate that.

And as for the X-Files being dark (yes, it was), it oddly enough got a lot brighter after production moved to Los Angeles in the 6th season. :D

Topic....Smallville? Yeah, you don't know want to know what I thought of the one episode I saw. ;)

Gillian is gorgeous!!!

Um, yeah....Smallville...

I've seen about a seasons worth of it. It is mildly entertaining, though I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.

Ok so Hal hasn't showed up and we've covered the X-files and something about Mickey Rooney.

Right.

I'll edit the title to better suit everyone's needs.

I like smallville.

I keep waiting for a young rich Mr. Wayne show up and try to buy out 33.1.

Anyway I am not liking Lana much anymore. And the one line that made me giggle was the whole Lois and Clark line the love potion #9 lady said.

What did you think of the Doctor's line right at the end to Lex about Lana's pregnancy? That was a real shocker for me!

Well I thought it was pretty weird. I am not sure if they are going to try to terminate the baby or what.

In the original books, Lana is with the Green Lantern or something right? Its been too long. Anyway I didn't think she had a kid. Again my memory is probably wrong.

My son and I are both trying to figure out all the affects of the different kryptonite.

Anyway I am ready for the next epi and to see how the whole thing plays out.

No. I think what he meant was that the baby was induced into Lana. Meaning that Lex had her purposely impregnated (by him of course) so that it would up the chances of her marrying him. At least that's what I understood, I could be wrong.

I looove Smallville.

Erica Durance is pretty hot! I have the 2006 Calandar at my desk at work here turned to her page... I couldn't find a 07 Smallville calandar! :help:

I have all the episodes on DVD except the current season. I don't have that channel so I have to wait for the season to come out on DVD.
