I love the phone - but only after I've lost my early inhibition with a person. First 4-5 calls I sound like an awkward twerp. After that I sound like an awkward twerp who can't stop talking. :P

IM is good though - I yahoo my life away (except at the moment, while work is being deadly).

Why aren't any of you lot on YM when I am? I feel decidedly miffed. :suspicious:

Oh! I didn't say hi to Squiddly!

Helloooooooooo Squiddly!

You know, I've seen you around alot lately; every message board I visit, there's been a recent arrival by the name of Squid. :Q Are you like, um, shadowing me?

Imp, if you didn't always have a big red "BUSY" sign on YM, you might get a lot more chats! :P ;)

hiya Squiddy!!!!!!!!!!! i think i've talked to you over the phoe but i am not sure

Did i Lidless?? you'll know best

as for phone convos i love to get a call out of the blue. It's a nice surprise. As for myself i hardly call. i fear the dreaded silences that come with calling people. if i call i feel like it's it's my duty to keep the conversation going. And like Ber said english isn't my first language and i can't think about grammar while talking on the phone :P

i am addicted to texting though but like Lidless said, it misses emotion sometimes.

Jae, I have no idea. Sqiddy'll have to answer that one.

The traditional moot "let's get out Lidless' phone and call people" is normally done during a drunken stupor.

Oh, wow, that is an enormous cat. I would also hug it to death. I don't mind squeezing my dog cuz she's strong, but cars are so small I worry about hurting them even if I'm just petting their back. :P

 yeah she's fabulous, one hell of a psychotic female (gets into jealous fits whenever i give her uncle more attention that her -yes we have a little family ;)-)but she's lovely. She's a hilarious cat; talks to you when you talk to her, walks as if she were a princess and can pull the most wonderful haughty faces :LMAO:

ok ok will shut up or else i'll go ranting about my other cat :P

OK, I've held off as long as I can.

I have stroked Jae's pussy. It needs a trim.

Jae, she's a Persian isn't she?

They have the most peculiar (but endearing) personalities. My daughter got a Persian kitten about five years ago who quickly earned the nickname 'Psychokitty' :Q

After she had kittens she calmed down and became more normal.

Wow Jae... what a GORGEOUS cat :Q I'd love to cuddle her too! I can easily spend hours petting and making stupid baby cooing noises to my cat, I love cuddly kitties... :)

Lidless- be proud :P

JN- LOL we may have a problem then. she had a, what's-it-called, you know; the snip snip. poor thing will be doomed to stay as psycotic as she is now. and yes she's a persian :) well her mother isn't so father probably is.(he's a stray so no idea who he is)

Ber-You're like my mother then :LMAO: she can talk to those cats for hours as if they were kids. i talk to them as equals :p (not sure which is more ludacris) but she's cuddly alright ;)

I am very a much a "give them voices" pet-owner. :P Can't help it - mom did it with my childhood dog and now with the new one, so it just came naturally.

Nope, not a persian, because they have pushed-in faces. I took one look at the size of that cat, and said "Maine Coon"! They are very large cats, and are striped like their namesake.

Most Persian cats I've met are psycho, but my aunt had a Maine Coon, and he was very sweet tempered.

her mother isn't a persian but big chance the father is. like i said no idea who that was so we can only guess. But with her enormous pack of fur and tail and short legs she resembles a persian. Will have to look up on the main coon. aren't that like wild cats??

maybe we should start a pet club or something i feel bad hijacking squiddy's thread

The reason the front speakers on that TV of mine were cut to ribbons was because of a Maine Coon I had.

Paws the size of table-tennis bats.

My daughter named him Donut (since he was American). My first cat in the apartment was a Siberian sealpoint female cat called Doesjka - Russian for 'babe'). Given the American / Russian relationship and the fact they'd have to get along, I wanted to call him Detente, but was overruled.
