I don't remember exactly what they said, but why didn't you like it? Too cliche?
That was a big part of it, yes. :) But also...the audience has just sat through a whole film dealing with the idea of belief, and it's been dealt with in a wonderful (and mostly subtle) way. To suddenly have such a simplistic sort of summing up of it all was just annoying.

But I loved the film, and certainly plan to own it.

I enjoyed it very much. from my home.. ahem.. right

It was a great movie.. I had to with hold even mentioning that I had seen it for a good week or two though because I didn't want madzia to know :P (i mailed her a copy) anyways... I thought it was a great movie... I really enjoyed it... I dunno.. at times i did think it moved a bit slow.. but hell, it wasnt an action movie so i dont know what i was expecting:P Im just a little impatient with movies sometimes. nothing against this one...

Well lets just say my son liked it, but turned to me and his sister and said you too are blubbering too much, people will notice. To which I said look around the theater, and he then said everyone is crying mom. I said right.

I loved this film. I will own it. It hit a very personal chord with me and my life situations, or situations in my life.

I cried too as well as my mom and my sister...all in the theatre. My dad was so embarrassed :P I really did enjoy this movie and I thought it was very well done. I hope to own it once it comes out later this month!

What I admired about this film is the restraint that was used. It would have been easy to go for cheap emotion, but it was so understated that I never felt manipulated.

Oh, and Depp was pretty hott, too. :D

I've been avoiding this thread, as we haven't seen this yet. But Din bought the DVD earlier in the week, with the plan to curl up and watch it tonight. :)
