I think that we might need another hint. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm stumped.

Sorry if I killed the thread. It's one of my favourite films. The actress who said it has worked for Kubrick, one of the Monty Pythons and Altmann. She out-hams the hero in the movie which is quite an achievement.

I didn't even get anywhere trying to Google this one, sorry Tosh. :( It sounds like the movie was just a bit before my time--maybe I haven't heard of it.

I'm starting to think along the same lines. Perhaps the year that the film was released?

Made in 1980, widely panned, it's about a great American hero.
Rattlesnakes! Rattlesnakes! is the cry of fear from the nervous heroine when she hears an unfamiliar sound. The director told the actress that she was born to play this role. She didn't take kindly to this compliment.
Sorry, I thought it would be better known. I liked it.

I killed a thread!
To kick life into it I'll reveal it is what Shelley Duvall exclaims when she hears a rattling noise from a bundle on the street. The bundle is Sweet Pea, Shelley is Olive Oyl and the film/movie is Popeye.
I'll try to set an easier one.

'Pretty please with sugar on top; clean the fucking car!'

I feel kind of foolish, now because I've seen that, though it has been many years ago.

Current quote I think is from Pulp Fiction, though I can't remember who said it.

It was Harvey Keitel I think.

You'll have to fight each other for the honour of setting the next question.

Thank you! :)

"I hope it feels so good to be right. There is nothing more exhilarating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?"

Give it time. :) I have really no idea but will take a guess. Is it an historical film such as a Jane Austen story?

This was released in 1994 and anyone who has ever had a crappy job should be able to relate to this movie. :)

I can't think of any more good hints that don't totally give it away!
All of the actors are relatively unheard of, but it is considered a cult classic.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say Clerks?

I'm probably wrong 'cause I've never seen the movie and I'm not sure if it was released in 94.

That totally sounds like a Clerks line even if it's not. :)

Hence my guessing it. 'Cause I know Clerks humor from years of reading geek websites. I am truly pathetic. :LMAO:
