"One white wine comin' up!" Edain cries enthusiastically, glad to have something to do on a messageboard for once, and with the aid of the sudden appearence of a fridge whips up a nice glass of chilled chardy.

"There you go Dawn, I hope that is to your taste." He beamed goodnaturedly as he handed the glass to her.

"Guinness? Of course! Gotta drink the black stuff."

Edain pumped out a fine glass of it, let it settled then placed it on the table. "There you go ladies, please enjoy your drinks."

Then he disappeared to get some mixers, polish some glasses and do general landlordly thangs as seen in British soap operas...

(OOC: Yummy I'll soon get that 500+ posts at this rate. )

"I'll drink to that!" Dawn lifts her wine to her lips and takes a careful sip before smiling.

"It's delicious!" Dawn takes another sip and glances around the bar.

"When will everyone else join us?"

*waives*

"What you waiver your entitlement to a free drink?! There are soft drinks and other fine beverages available for those whom are more temperancely minded..." Edain said, managing to conceal his surprise quite quickly.

Edain beams at the fine Alatar. "Mate, the Guinness is as fine as you make it. Dream of your favourite kind and it shall appear in the barrel ready for me to pour you a pint. This is a fantasy message board after all."

"You fancy a pint then?" Edain says, doing his best not to pirate an Ooirish accent. (a bad habit of his... )

Lalaith walks through the doors, waits for her eyes to adjust, and then spots her friends close to the bar. She smiles. "A party!" she thinks, and she quickly walks towards them all.

"Hey, guys! Am I too late?" she asks.

"I'm not? Oh, great! Well, then, kind barkeep, I see you have Guinness on tap. I'll gladly take one of those."

After Edain hands her the foamy, black pint, she turns to the rest and says, "So what are we doing for fun tonight?" But then she quickly turns back to Edain, squinting a bit. "Wait! Is that 500 post counts I see? A toast to Edain the Ranger!"

"Well, this party is going to be more fun that I thought!"

And that's all she said before taking a big gulp of her Guinness.

Edain glances between his co-conspirators with a cheeky twinkle in his eye, before proceeding to guffaw in a filthy manner.

"I see the party has started! Thank you Lalai, we'll see what happens shall we?" With that he returns her squint.

Seeing the hiatus Edain thought sharp(e) of something:

"To Health, Happiness and many more posts everybody. Wassail!"

Hello. I found this board by accident and was thinking of posting here, but I’m not sure. Is it worth it? Are there cool people here? Hot babes? Do you have anything good to eat? Is there somewhere to talk about medieval weapons? I see you have a well stocked bar. That’s good.

Mmm, well, the beer’s good anyway. Place seems festive enough. *looks around at banners and streamers and funny party hats and those kazoo-like noise-makers that unroll like a really long tongue - what do they call those things anyway?*

Did you bring donuts? Chocolate? The keys to the sauna and pool/hot tub rooms? Trebuchets are of course entirely optional.

Ok, I’m stayin’. Now, where’s that hot tub?

Edain, it's what the monks at the Augustiner Monastary in Salzburg make, and that was by far the best beer I've ever had in my life. I highly recommend it.

I say we fling Yovi the chocolate despiser into the pool by launching him off of the trebuchet...into the deep end, of course.
