Kirk and Spock the funny!

Eru I know what you mean about missing real syrup. I sent Syrup for Tigg in New Zealand and well yeah, I did not realize how much it's unavailable in other places. The fake stuff is a nightmare.

So, this is random. And weird. Really weird.

I chose salami because it's thin, keeps in one piece, and is quite cheap, and bacon because it looks very, um, meaty. I considered somehow vacuum-sealing sheets of meat with those sealers they have on the markets now, but the machines were too expensive for a one-time-only disposeable dress. I ended up using the K.I.S.S. method of construction, which involved a basic shift dress out of thick cotton. I layed the meat on top, then put clear vinyl over it and sewed tracks with clear thread. I used a wide stitch length to avoid perforating the meat to the point it might just... uh, slide down the bottom of the dress. I also blotted it all before sewing to get rid of as much grease as possible to avoid clouding the vinyl. Lastly, I made sure to bind the bottom of the dress with a strip of clear vinyl to catch drips. (I love talking about this; it's so disgusting.) The whole project took about 6 hours, and I kept it refrigerated until the party. Good times.

Other than a dog, I fail to see how this is attractive to anyone.

That zombie My Little Pony was handed in at the Minas Tirith lost property office after the Battle of the Pelennor. It is believed to have been owned by a gentleman with a burning complexion and a deep laugh but who will not be playing with it any more.

My avatar bounces around reeeeeeally slowly in IE but in proper fast speed in Firefox.

Valrhona is the best chocolate brand ever.

Gardening isn't for the impatient though is still really rewarding.

In English, the letter after "v" is double-u. In French, it's double-v.

Therefore, the English use cursive more than the French.

(whether they flutter while doing so is a question that has vexed linguists for centuries)

Bikes are difficult to fit into a minivan.

One should be wary of the pedals, as they can bust open one's chin when wrestling the bike into the minivan.

Children then saying--after you've arrived at the bike riding destination--that they "don't want to ride bikes, since it's too hot" tends to make a mom angry.

:rage:

I enjoyed this comment from ONTD:
Quote:
On June 6th I went to a Gogol Bordello show. After the show, I went to the bus area to get pics with the band. It was me and like 7 other fans. Who was standing by the back door talking to crew members? MOTHER FUCKING FRODO!!!!! He's supposedly with one of he girls in the band. I tried to get a pic of him holding an ONTD sign, but the security guy was bitching at me for being on the "VIP pavement". I decided not to push it cos I did not want my name in an arrest report that also had the word "Hobbit" in it.
Oh, the days when that would be a badge of honor for a lot of people here.

Or still is.

Yeah, that would be pretty cool imo.
